Umpires Clinic

The league provides umpires for all games in the Squirt Division and above.  There is an umpire-in-chief and several older more senior umpires, but there is always a need for new umpires who will typically start at the younger age level games.  This is a great opportunity for any players 13 and older, their brothers, sisters and friends to have a little fun and earn some money.  Training is provided as are the umpire, uniforms, and equipment.  The umpire clinic this year is tentatively being held on Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31st.  There is a cost of approximately $100.00 which is refunded once ten games have been umpired.  Each game typically has a home plate umpire and a base umpire.  New umpires are generally paired with more experienced ones while they learn “on the job”. 

Umpire certifications are as follows:

                Level 1 certification, first year;

                Level 1 certification, second year;

                Level 2 certification

                Level 3 certification

                Mentoring a junior umpire
