Provincial Playdown Tournament

ü      This is for Squirts, Peewee and Bantum. 

ü      Date:  Saturday, May 23^rd to Sunday, May 24^th (tentative).

ü      The winning team in each division will be expected to represent the WVGSA at the District Playdowns against Squamish, North Vancouver and Lower Sunshine Coast teams, where they have teams in the Divisions.  Dates and locations of these games are to be confirmed.  District winners will then advance to the Provincial Championship Tournament July 4 – 6^th.

ü     The tentative date for the District Playdowns is June 6 – 7^th.

If you go to the Softball B.C. website, www.softball.bc.ca and look at the current year tournament tab you will see all the tournaments available for your team to play in.  These weekend tournaments are a lot of fun, a great experience for your players and will really improve their game.  The exposure to other teams and their skills is very helpful and inspires your players to improve and work together.
